We Make-a-da-Sausage

 


morning came to another snowy day. some of the scarpelli clan gathered at nick’s house to make sausage. grandma and papa were late so we started mixing without them. 60 pounds of pork, spices and intestinal lining, and a few hours work produced sausage that should last us each at least a month or so.


kath mixed the spices. my sausage fingers mixed the pork. spencer, dominic and nick ran the machine. grandma and papa portioned and tied the sausage. and we all shouted and told each other how to “properly” do their job. ahh family.
