time again for our annual lake week at my grandparents lake cabin in eastern washington. the usual suspects were all there, gorgeous little babies, copious amounts of food, afternoons and evening filled with cocktails cards and laughing. for some reason, the record-breaking heat wave in western washington didn’t make its way to us as it was a perfect 80 degrees all week. lovely

celebrated her belated-birthday. one of her

gifts was “my first book” where you draw

all the pictures and write the story. she

decided to write it about me and all the fun

stuff we do together. made me melt inside.
